Welcome to our Gallery of Articles. The Evangelistic Articles posted below are downloadable as PDFs for sending, printing, and sharing with others. They have all been written in order to be published in local newspapers, initially in Silverton, Oregon, but eventually in newspapers throughout the Willamette Valley of Oregon. As of November 15th, 2023, our articles will have been published 10 times in the Our Town newspaper which serves the community surrounding Silverton, Oregon.

The whole point of this project is to present the good news concerning Jesus Christ to those who need to hear it, but would not be likely to come looking for it in a church gathering. By publishing our articles in local newspapers we place the gospel in the path of our neighbors in those moments when they are most open to the news.

If you have just read my most recent article and would like to learn more, let’s meet up to discuss any of the ideas presented in the article. I would be happy to do so. Please understand that these articles have also been written in order to raise the level of biblical literacy in our community. Many people today have little or no idea what the Bible is about. My hope is that by explaining the basic beliefs of Christianity I will make it easier for everyone in our community to discuss these important issues as friends and neighbors, and perhaps understand the terms and ideas being presented more accurately.

It costs $2231 to publish each article each month. The souls of our neighbors are well worth it and I intend to press on alone if need be. Do You Need a Tax Deductible Receipt?

I can arrange for your donation to receive a tax-deductible receipt if you call me at 971-370-0967. I will run it through the local church where I serve as a Pastor/Teaching Elder, Gracious Cross Reformed Church in Salem, Oregon. They will then use it, at their sole discretion, to help cover the costs of these articles.
