Welcome to our Gallery of Articles. The Evangelistic Articles posted below are downloadable as PDFs for sending, printing, and sharing with others. They have all been written in order to be published in local newspapers, initially in Silverton, Oregon, but eventually in newspapers throughout the Willamette Valley of Oregon. As of June 18, 2023, our articles have been published in the Our Town newspaper which serves the community surrounding Silverton, Oregon.

Let’s Meet Up!

The whole point of this project is to present the good news concerning Jesus Christ to those who need to hear it, but would not be likely to come looking for it. By publishing in local newspapers we place the gospel in the path of our neighbors in those moments when you are most open to reading the news.

Please understand that these articles have also been written in order to raise the level of biblical literacy in our community. Many people today have little or no idea what the Bible is about. My hope is that by explaining the basic beliefs of Christianity I will make it easier for everyone in our community to discuss these important issues as friends and neighbors, and perhaps understand the terms and ideas being presented more accurately.

Join Me for our weekly Men’s Breakfast at the Noble Inn.

I host a Thursday morning Men's Breakfast at 5:30 to 7 AM at my home located in the Noble Inn, the bed & breakfast I own here at 409 S. Water St. in Silverton, Oregon. We already have 8 to 10 men gathering weekly from various area churches. We enjoy a great breakfast, pray together, look briefly into the Bible, and discuss the meaning of a passage of Scripture especially for our lives as men, husbands, fathers, brothers, friends & neighbors. If you are a man seeking to know and serve God better, we would love to have you join us.

It is early, but most of us have to be at work by 8 am and we don’t want to take men away from their families in the evening. So, the coffee will be hot. The orange juice will be cold. The eggs and bacon will be great. The discussion will be enjoyable. I promise. It will be worth getting up for.

It costs me $2231 to publish each article each month. The souls of our neighbors are well worth it and I intend to press on alone if I have to.
