Respite StayS
Your Host, Gregg Harris, Pastor at Gracious Cross Reformed Church
Dear Pastors & Missionaries,
“Come away to a quiet place and get some rest.”
Church Pastors Seeking a Respite Retreat & Foreign Missionaries Back on Furlough in the United States May Stay at Noble Inn Free of Charge.*
Having served as a Pastor/Teaching Elder at several churches since 1978, and now serving as such at Gracious Cross Reformed Church in Salem, Oregon, I know it is never easy to do a good job in a high-pressure ministry. And, as one who has known and supported missionaries throughout my Christian life, I know how difficult it can be to come back to the United States to reconnect with supporting churches and recruit additional supporters. So, Bonnie and I have decided, in the light of God’s Word, to invest some of our “unrighteous mammon” in these two categories of special guests. This is one way we can “lay up for ourselves eternal treasures in heaven.”
So, attention all local church pastors seeking a respite retreat (with or without your wives), and all foreign missionaries on furlough (with or without your families): You may stay here at Noble Inn for a few nights, free of charge.*
To book your Respite Stay, please call or text us at 503-926-1388.
Relax in Fern Gully, our private shade garden.
*A Note to Local Churches and Missionary-Sending Organizations: We never turn anyone away for lack of funds, but if your local church or sending agency has set aside funds to support pastoral retreats for your pastors and/or temporary housing for your missionaries back on furlough, please consider donating some of those already budgeted funds to Noble Inn to help support us in our Respite Hospitality Ministry toward those who have no such support. Thank you.
